This electric dehorner comes with a 15mm dehorning head and runs off of mains electricity.

Dehorning is accomplished quickly and simply by placing the dehorner over the horn and rotating the tool to make certain the high temperature is applied to all horn cells at the base of the horn. In four to six weeks, the horn will drop off leaving a smooth, well-healed area.

No loss of blood or severe shock during or after dehorning. Only a few seconds are required for the entire operation and it can be done safely during any month of the year. Ideally to reduce trauma and injury, dehorn when stock are young, preferably shortly after birth but certainly no later than 3 weeks of ageHigh quality, heavy duty dehorner
